Review of The Ghazi Attack (2017) by Krutisundar B — 01 Apr 2017
The ghazi Attack released on feb 17 is a clever wind-up toy of a movie, almost feeler sequel of Hollywood movie "U571".
The characters are perfunctory, the action is recycled straight out of standard submarine formulas, and there is one shot where a 2nd rank officer Rana dagubatti steal the show led by Atul kulkarni from captain kay kay menon.
To some degree movies like this involving war u boats technology may be made for first time in Bollywood history always work, at least on a action level. The pakistan destroyer is overhead, dropping depth charges, and the crew waits in hushed suspense muscling up to destroy indian submarine s-21. We're all sweating along with them while movie playing in forward... But hold on a minute. We saw the dumb pakistanis missed several shots of torpedo infant of inexperienced naval officer rana dagbatti. As the the pakistanis lost the opportunities of advantage s-21 backfired into pakistani submarine. And when the charges are right on top of the pakistan sub, they explode one right after another, like a string of firecrackers--dozens of them, as leaks spring and water gushes in and lights blink and the surround sound rocks the theater.
A marvelous epic true thriller with moderate application of technology in history of Bollywood cinemas is a must watch .
