Review of The General's Daughter (1999) by Dan B — 26 Apr 2008
Something like 90% of women under 50 in military service report being sexually harassed in the military, and something like one-third of all the women in the armed forces have been raped by one or more of their fellow soldiers.
This movie takes a look at the psychological implications if one of those women was the daughter of a high-ranking and ambitious general who was presented an opportunity to choose between family and military.
