Review of The Gatekeepers (2012) by Matan S — 27 Mar 2013
Very disappointing movie that did not merit being nominated for an Oscar. Like many leftist Israeli movies, the agenda is so obvious it punches you in the face in the first five minutes. A very poor representation of Israel's security dilemma (which the film denies exists), with all the hyperbole to go with it (Israeli occupation = Nazi occupation, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter blah blah blah).
Barely edifying, a propagandist disaster.
