Review of The Gate (1987) by Marissa W — 05 Jan 2010
One of those great little 1980s films I watched over and over as a kid. Though fairly tame as a Horror movie, it still has enough creepy stuff to give you the chills. The cast is great, the score is nice, most of the effects are amazing and have held up well, the pace is quick, the films has a spooky and dreamlike atmosphere, and the film is very well directed and photographed.
Watching it now really takes me back.
