Review of The Gate (1987) by Sean C — 12 Feb 2010
This was nostalgia for me. It reminded me so much of what I remember from the 1980s. That era was always about demons coming out of some sort of hole. The little kid always knows what's really happening while the parents' are away somewhere and his older sister is too busy trying to be cool with her friends.
Not to forget the whole heavy metal bands putting messages about conjuring demons in their music. And we get to see Stephan Dorff before he went onto be that guy who keeps kicking over boxes and vases in that Britney Spears video.
