Review of The Garment Jungle (1957) by Allan C — 14 Jul 2012
At times overwrought, but quite good later noir film that was primarily directed by the great Robert Aldrich, who was fired two weeks shy of the film being completed. The film uncomfortably vacillates between being an "issue" film and a tough nourish thriller, but overall it's a start little melodrama with a fun tough edge.
