Review of The Garbage Pail Kids Movie (1987) by Bill T — 11 Nov 2007
Now seriously, when I frst started watching this, I saw the fashions and everything, and I thought this was science fiction, because of the truly awful and just out there clothes and HAIR people were wearing.
I checked the box again, and soon, a bad realization came into play, that I was watching, truly, the nadir of bad 80's films. SERIOUSLY, it doesnt get any worse then this, hilarious wardrobe malfunction after another pollutes the screen.
Oh, as well, a REALLY BAD synthesiser sountrack hurts your ears. The acting is subpar (Anthony Newley really should be ashamed of himself) and the special effects of the kids themselves don't pass beyond rubber mediocrity.
The story is full of holes, and stinks from start to finish. If you're looking to have a bad 80's movie night, make this the feature presentation!
