Review of The Game Plan (2007) by Jackie G — 04 Apr 2009
Dwayne Johnson stars as an ego driven football player that learns he has an 8 yr old daughter (Madison Pettis). The movie is a little overly cutsie and the girl is occasionally a brat.
But Johnson and Pettis have chemistry and are believable as father and daughter. While Johnson shouldn't do too many Disney movies, he at least does it better than Vin Diesel. Pettis isn't bad either, I don't know why critic Richard Roeper liked to pick on kid actors and called her bad. But she was cute even if some how characters antics could be a little annoying.
