Review of The Game (1997) by Jon R — 24 Dec 2012
The Game is a beautifully strange experience that starts slow and then quickly ramps up into a tense nail biting culmination. As the film progresses Michael Douglas' character slowly descends into paranoia and the conclusion leaves you with a satisfying yet distinctly strange feeling.
Michael Douglas & Sean Penn are both phenomenal here and their interactions are some of the best parts of the film. I would venture to say that there is more replay value here than any other thriller that I have ever seen.
