Review of The Game (1997) by A.j. A — 15 Jun 2013
This movie is a non-stop suspenseful thrill ride that is constantly keeping you, and Michael Douglas, guessing. With fantastic performances by Douglas and Kara Unger, Fincher spins together an increasingly intricate web of twists and turns leaving everyone questioning what is real, and what is part of "the game".
The only real problem the movie has is it's ending, which completely gets rid of all emotional impact and feels like a disservice to everything that was just witnessed. Other than that, fans of the thriller genre and David Fincher will find a lot to like in this movie.
