Review of The Gallows (2015) by Eric V — 16 Oct 2015

It's not a good thing when the only satisfying part of the movie is the closure. I will be honest with you the ending is really creepy and while the twist doesn't come as much of surprise the finale is very well done.

But that's the only good thing about this film. The characters are unlikable from the start so it's rather painful to watch. It's interesting to note that there was another cut of the movie before the studio has gotten the hands on it.

It is included on Blu-ray as bonus feature and is said to be a superior version. I say it's four executive decisions out of ten.
