Review of The Gallows (2015) by Eytan D — 22 Dec 2015
Despite an interesting environmental backdrop, some decent performances, and a few decent jump scares, "The Gallows" is scatterbrained, choppily edited, formulaic, and the characters easily make the dumbest decisions in recent memory (provided that their motives for being in the theater are stupid to begin with).
This could have been a decent found footage entry, but ultimately, "The Gallows" chokes.
