The worst part may be how it squanders such a great premise. The characters are deplorable and while its intense during it, all of that suspense is built up not because of its filmmaking techniques but because of the genre it just so happens to be set in with cell phones as cameras.
The characters are deplorable and irrational, and its ending is really poorly constructed.
