Review of The Gallows (2015) by Kaitlyn J — 05 Apr 2016
The Gallows is a high-paced, jump-scare, horror film that follows four high school students after they get stuck in their theater right before the play, "The Gallows" is to be performed. Not terrible acting combined with a take on the found film genre and you get a pretty decent movie.
The beginning starts off slow, adding a few funny moments before finally getting to the main plot line. If you're looking for a tale to keep you up late at night, then this isn't it. The Gallows has decent effects and a storyline that's cousin to many other plots but yet is still entertaining to watch.
