Review of The Furies (1950) by Private U — 16 Jul 2008
Great movie, beautifully shot and superbly acted by the electrifying Barbara Stanwyck and Walter Huston. There's a little bit of everything here... it's essentially a drama about vengeance, the greed of man, and the jealousy/manipulation of woman.
But it's also part-romance, part-noir, and part-western action movie (loved the scene where Walter Huston wrestles the bull!).
