Review of The Funhouse (1981) by Marcus M — 20 Aug 2008
This is a not so celebrated Tobe Hooper joint. Unlike some of his other entries, this one's not as violent but more suspense driven. A true to form horror throwback from the Vincent Price era but still has the Tobe Hooper stamp of the fucked up killer family complete with a deformed monster son.
If I had seen this when I was seven it would've been the most terrifying thing I'd have seen since Thriller(keep in mind this would've been 20 years ago). Now it's just a cool flick.
