Review of The Funhouse (1981) by Kevin C — 01 Sep 2007
One of Hooper's most misunderstood films. And one of the decades best. People seem to only rmemeber The texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist.
The Funhouse is a brilliant send of of the teen body count films of the the late 70's and early 80's. It takes a look at the darkness behind the guise of what's safe.
It's fun, horrific and beautifully shot. Check it out sometime.
