Review of The Funhouse (1981) by Al M — 25 Jan 2009
A film that starts off promising great 80s slasher fun ends up falling flat one the nature of the horrific family is revealed. Not really a slasher film at all, but a film about kids being trapped in a funhouse and pursued by a mutant.
Would have been cooler if it actually was a slasher film featureing the creepy clown with an axe on the poster or dvd cover. Not one of Tobe Hooper's finest moments, but still a decent hour and half for fans who have seen everything else in 80s horror era.
