Review of The Funhouse (1981) by Jake A — 18 Jul 2017
Though it does have its moments this slasher film is too plodding, not quite violent enough and neither scary enough to truly satisfy. Despite having a camp tone to it the script fails to capitalise on that tone, it is also badly acted and has unsatisfying conclusion.
It does however have good practical effects, a solid score and a couple of tense scenes.
