Review of The Full Monty (1997) by Calum H — 10 Jul 2009
A really fun feel-good film. Like in many other feel-good films, the plot is very predictable. But that doesn't matter, because it is really funny. There are serious parts too, but these parts never destroy the all-round cheerfulness of the film.
The story, which is about as predictable as they come, is about a group of steelworkers forming a strip act, but there isn't any full frontal nudity, which for some people will be a relief. However, there are shots of bare bums, which will be good news for a number of people.
