Charming little British comedy. It is definitely worthy of it's praise. Very funny, well acted especially by Robert Carlyle who plays one of his best characters along with his character from the previous year's Trainspotting.
Mark Addy & Tom Wilkenson also very good. Very witty and charming screenplay and Peter Catteneo's direction is quite good. Not the best film of that year, to me that goes to L.A. Confidential and then probably Titanic or Good Will Hunting but still a very entertaining piece of comedy.
