As expected from a sidney lumet film, "the fugitive kind" has gorgeous cinematography and great performances, particularly from anna magnani. it's really too bad that it's wasted on a lackluster script, that takes forever to start.
the characters are all quite boring to watch, with little to no motivation for their actions.
