One of the best Thrillers ever made. Generous to fans of the TV series and newcomers with a gripping plot that never lets up and scene after scene of masterful acting and atmosphere. Even now, nearly 20 years on The Fugitive is well remembered and a stunning example of how to do a chase thriller.
Ford is exceptional but Tommy Lee Jones is otherwordly here and deserves every inch of that Oscar.
