When Director Andrew Davis (Under Siege, The Package and Holes) directed The Fugitive, Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones were at the top of their game. You did have Joe Pantoliano, Sela Ward, Jeroen Krabbé (Who?) and even Julianne Moore (surprise, surprise that too in a 3 minute role) add to the flavor - so you can imagine how old this movie was. At that time, the movie was a smashing success. However, when you look at it today, you may not get the same feeling.

Though the storyline is pretty good and the direction of the movie is quite thrilling, certain scenes of the movie come to question:

1. Harrison Fords incredible jump of nearly 300 meter high into the waters - and still surviving it.

2. The Entire Police Force not being able to corner one simple doctor?

3. The manner in which Harrison Ford uncovers the mystery of the murder.

4. The Improbable nature of how the movie ended.

While you may think these are very small bits to the movie - they actually make you laugh with disbelief and hence make you disconnect from the character, the plot and the movie.

So Moment of Truth.

An Entertaining Movie that is good enough for a single watch. It still does have its charm. Especially the Train Crash Scene - which to be honest, I still cannot for the life of me understand what was the point of having it in the movie???

Overall Ratings.

6 out of 10.
