Review of The Fugitive (1993) by Connor D — 26 Feb 2015
"The Fugitive" is a film adapted from a 1960s television series. It tells of Doctor Richard Kimble (Ford) who is accused of murdering his wife and is ruled to be killed by lethal injection. While on a train to the penitentiary, a group of convicts begin to fight around, and eventually Kimble gets free, and starts on a mission to clear his name and figure out who killed his wife.
I really enjoyed "The Fugitive." I thought it was filled with a lot of great action/chase sequences and has some surprising, stellar acting performances by both Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones, who won the 1993 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Sam Gerard. This is a well-crafted movie and one of the best films of 1993. I recommend "The Fugitive" to anyone looking for a great 90s film. 8.2/10.
