Review of The Fugitive (1993) by Ethan P — 09 Dec 2015
"I don't care" Tommy Lee Jones response to Harrison Fords character in The Fugitive after Richard Kimble states "I didn't kill my wife." One of the best quotes in movie history in my eyes.
Which really gives you the overall scope of the picture. Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) innocent, but accused of murdering his wife is on the run and Sam Gerard,Tommy Lee Jones is hot on his trail to catch him.
But Gerard does not care about the case, does not care why Kimble is running he just knows he has a job to do and he is going to do everything in his power to do it. There have been a lot of movies about fugitives on the loose running from the cops, but The Fugitive tops them all.
Both actors in the prime of their careers give outstanding performances. Jones is flawless as the arrogant U.S. Marshal tracking Kimble's every move. This movie is beyond thrilling and exciting and will keep you tense and on the edge of your seat the entire time.
