Glad I ignored the average reviews and watched. The story and acting were excellent. I really liked how it showed it took instinct and initiative by a good street cop who had to go over another trying to block further investigation.
He then sends information to the state police and that investigator (Cage) also has to persist in the face of others trying to stop the investigation while also protecting the girl who escaped the killer.
These are two amazing men and it's a great story about the strong young girl/woman with the outstanding survival instincts who escaped a serial killer.
