Review of The Frighteners (1996) by Morgan O — 14 Apr 2008
IN my opinion this is a kids movie, and is the kinda movie kids should be watching instead of the drivel that is 'Shrek'.
This film is entertaining, scary, funny, and intelligent.
I would have gone nuts for it when I was a kid, so I thoroughly disagree with the over-zealous MPAA's 'R' rating.
Fortunately you can now get an uncut version in Britain with a '15' rating, which is pretty cool.
Also, Jeffrey Combs!
