Pretty tight, if over-the-top, blend of action, comedy and horror with some very spooky and gripping special effects. Michael J Fox's spends a lot of the film talking to himself and does a great job of it.
The director's cut is superior to the theatrical edition. Only really loses steam in the big finale which drags its feet a lot.
