Review of The Frighteners (1996) by Rodney E — 28 Sep 2008

Part goofy supernatural comedy in which a con artsit with a sixth sense trades barbs with ghosts and scams people with ghostbusting also turns out to be a pretty twisted suspense film. Michael J fox is great as the scam artist and he starts to creep people out when bodies pile up with numeric carvings in their head.

Has pretty good special effects and Jeffrey Combs shows up as another bizarre treat. Peter Jackson sure had a lot of wacky movies like this pre LoTR.
