Review of The Frighteners (1996) by Aquiles V — 17 Jan 2012
Surprisingly a really good horror comedy. When the movie starts it seems that is going to be just about this guy named Frank Bannister, who sees ghosts and uses them to haunt people's houses in order to trick them and get paid to solve their problems.
But the movie takes an unpredictable turn when the grim reaper starts chasing people and killing them leaving a number in their foreheads and blaming Frank for the murders. That's when the movie took off and led to a series of exciting and creepy events that made it so original.
Highly entertaining and and one of the best of it's genre.
