Review of The Freshman (1990) by James S — 19 Apr 2008
Enjoyable comedy that showed Matthew Broderick could do more than jump over sunbathing women and that Marlon Brando could still put on a good show, even if he reminds you of Jabba the Hutt through out.
There are some really nice laughs along the way and the performances are all good. The twists might seema little obvious but when a film is this sweet, that's easily forgiven.
