Review of The Freshman (1990) by Mark V — 01 Feb 2010
Starts out a bit slow, but ends with two killer comic sequences: the dinner jacket and the big game. As in all subsequent movies about college, Harold does not attend any classes. I think this is the first major piece of pop culture to center on college life, but there must have been a lot during the 20s since Harold Lloyd's character patterns himself on college movies.
