Review of The Freshman (1990) by Dawdlingpoet — 26 Nov 2021

This is a light, easy watch. The story is pretty daft, to say the least. Its amusing enough, with a big names in the cast like Marlon Brando playing a Corleone type and Matthew Broderick. Its not a film to be analysed in depth because the plot doesn't make much sense if you really critique it but there are some quite amusing situations and its certainly entertaining enough to pass some time.

This is a light and easy watch overall which is less than believable and a bit daft/silly with a comic book feel to the characters perhaps but its a good enough film to pass a bit of time and so on that basis, I'd recommend it, yes.
