No idea why this is an "R" rating - it is ageing a bit and I preferred the movie of Possession, but think this was a sreenplay triumph. I found Irons the movie actor unconvincing - but the rest was very real.
In this movie, love is passed from one character to another like a virus for a type of madness. Two parallel stories leave an impact!
