Review of The French Lieutenant's Woman (1981) by Melissa W — 08 Feb 2011
The best parts are when Streep gets to go on a long spiel by herself; she's absolutely incredible. The writing in these parts is so brilliant and uncommonly poignant. The story itself is just o.k., but the dialogue that takes place between the two main characters is outstanding.
