Review of The French Connection (1971) by Corpse M — 16 Aug 2009
Simple... Good Guys Bad Guys Cops Action Film.
A couple of Narcotics Squad Detective heavies that run... well parallel to the law a lot of the time to get the respect that leads them to their ultimate goal, the international connection to the importation and arrest of both Drugs and the drug leaders.
Great acting Gene Hackman and an insight at the pecking order of these type of detectives using auto chop shops to work and gain skills...not just on the road with cars. American chase scene ? A muscle car coupe... stock and a city train.
A bit boring but a great 'watch'.
