Review of The French Connection (1971) by Nat G — 23 May 2010
First time I saw this film I fell in love with it, now that I know what happens I wasn't so impressed, but I still think it's a great film. I quite like the way the film is gritty, it's almost like a documentary, and although it doesn't have many special effects and is Lo-Fi, it is realistic and looks good.
I guess this film is most famous for it's car chase, and I have to agree, it's a great piece of work, and it's so original. I am jealous if you have never seen this film, I wish I didn't no anything about it so when I watch it next time, and can fully enjoy it again.
