Review of The French Connection (1971) by Ben N — 15 Apr 2011
Smart, fast-paced, and wonderfully acted, The French Connection is cop-action done right. The film is very realistic, and yet maintains to consistently surprise and bring in a lot of new ideas. The ending is quite surprising, aand adds a lot of depth to what otherwise would have just been a great action movie.
Take note Hollywood, this is how it's done.
