Ah, The French Connection. This was a HUGE stepping stone in my career as well. I won an Academy Award for my performance (which I think was well-deserved, thank you very much). It's a film of such unbelievable direction.
William Friedkin was and is a gifted, talented film maker and if he were to ever approach me with a script for The French Connection 3, I'd probably take him up on it.
