This is one of the ultimate chase movies of all time!.William Friedkin has given the world a chase movie unlike any other;One that is realistic,adrenaline rushed and powered by need to stop crime in every unquitable way possible.
The closest a films ever gotten to this rate would be Friedkin's very own "To Live and Die in L.A".Gene Hackman trully gives us a gritty detective performance which is comparable to "Dirty Harry",and which is by far his greatest performance delivered on screen to date.
This is a Thriller that can make you want to throw your popcorn at the screen once the film has finished,because all you want is more!
