Review of The Freedom to Marry (2016) by Lavi S — 19 Mar 2017
This doc is a tightly edited, educational and emotionally riveting account of the long march toward equality led in this case by the LGBT movement and in particular by Evan Wolfson at Freedom to Marry.
I urge everyone to see this moving film. You will shed a cheer in happiness at the end, and throughout you will marvel at the determination of advocates for decades who saw no challenge as insurmountable.
This movie in fact embodies everything good and just about being American, perfecting the ideal of liberty and justice for all is not the work of one of us but of all of us. This movie is an inspiration for non-gay Americans as much or many more even than for LGBT Americans.
Bravo!
