Review of The Freebie (2010) by Michael P — 09 Jan 2011
A movie that shows that while some concepts look simple, and achievable on paper, when it comes to life and relationships, the execution of such ideas involve sacrifices and life altering decisions that we can seldom take back.
The only reason I won't give this movie more stars is because the dialog (although very honest) was super dry.
Pros: Honest tension and concentration which is asked of the viewer.
Life lesson taught in a very truthful way.
Cons:
Dry dialog.
Movie drags out at times (read: much of the time).
A nice indie session, but not for re-watching.
