I expected there to be some conflict as a result of what this couple did, otherwise why make a film about it? But my disappointment came from the thought that the type of honest, open, happy couple they introduced in the beginning broke so far from character near the end, where they fell into this deep funk full of lies and pettiness.

The result isn't unexpected from a common monogamous couple, but I felt like I was promised a couple in the beginning that might be able to deal with this issue better than they did, and I think the film was just preaching to me.

Poly couples should probably save themselves this stomach ache.
