Review of The Fox and the Hound (1981) by Michael M — 06 Dec 2011
Certainly a better Disney film from the void that is 70s-80s Disney. It is nowhere near as good as the Golden Age or the 90s or Pixar periods, but it's decent. It has depth and emotion, but sometimes it feels like it is trying to hard.
The animation is good, but the budget limits it in the end. The songs are terrible. The characters are all pretty forgettable in the long run as well. You don't hate it while your watching it, but when its over you kind of don't care what just happened.
