Review of The Fourth Kind (2009) by Chris C — 06 Nov 2010
An intriguing concept to have real-life footage of a psychologist interviewing patients of supposed alien abductions contrasted with re-enactments to make the audience consider closely whether or not what they've seen is real.
However, such things should have been left for the small-screen not the cinema. It's creepy in some places such as the "possessions" of the Mome residents and their speaking in Sumerian but there is no real sense of style to this, the presentation sticking closely to a simple documentary with over-the-top bookends from Milla Jovovich as herself.
Really it's nothing much better than what you might see on The Horror Channel or Sci-Fi.
