Review of The Fourth Kind (2009) by Shelly-Anne S — 10 Jun 2011
What a mess of a movie this is. Self-indulgent, erratic, and nonsensical direction and editing are pervasive throughout. While the mockumentary parts of the film are extremely silly and over-the-top, with the actress portraying the 'real' Dr.
Abigail Tyler being laughably bad, the actual dramatization with Milla Jovovich is fairly decent. Had the movie stuck to a traditional narrative approach it could have been watchable and possibly mildly entertaining.
