Review of The Four Feathers (2002) by Ryan M — 02 Nov 2007
A memorable performance by Dijimon Housou and a worthy effort by Heath Ledger make this a memorizing and pulse pounding near epic presentation of a warzone period piece. Housou, one of the most underaccredited and talented dramatic actors of our day brings the intensity and stoic presence necessary to counter Heath Ledgers quiet cowardice yet growing resolve.
an excellent period piece and beautifully shot this film conveys the strategical success of the british tactical formations and shows with tenacity and determination anything can be achieved. props to Wes Bentley for an admirable performance as a courageous military commander and rival suitor in the cat and mouse courtship game.
this film's worth a look.
