Review of The Four Feathers (2002) by Alex B — 20 May 2011
Just when it started to get good, it got weighed down by the boring love-triangle crap again. I was hoping for more of a Djimon Hounsou/Russell Crowe friendship from Djimon Hounsou/Heath Ledger, but he was shifted way into the background at a certain point in the film.
I didn't really care for any of these characters (except for Abou, really) and this film really didn't interest me much when he wasn't on-screen. Oh, actually, I did like Kris Marshall's character too, but there wasn't much of him either.
I don't know what to make of this film other than to say it was boring, really. It looked good. That's something.
