Review of The Fountainhead (1949) by David S — 06 Feb 2010
Adaptation of a novel by Ayn Rand, important thinker, terrible writer and all-around moron. Her books are popular because they give people excuses for being idiots. Gary Cooper, in a vapid and tired performance, tells us never to compromise. Even if you're a third rate architect, be a hard-headed jerkwad. Altruism is for chumps! No man has the right to exist for his own sake!
Oh and the movie sucks because it's boringly didactic.
